چکیده

Abstract One critical remaining issue that is unclear in the initial mass function of first (Population III) stars final fate secondary protostars formed accretion disk—specifically, whether they merge or survive. We focus on magnetic effects formation star under a cosmological field. perform suite ideal magnetohydrodynamic simulations for 1000 yr after protostar formation. Instead sink particle technique, we employ stiff equation state approach to represent field structure connecting protostars. Ten years cloud initialized with B 0 = 10 ?20 G at n 4 cm ?3 , strength around has amplified from pico- kilo-Gauss, which same as present-day star. The rapidly winds up since gas vicinity (?10 au) undergone several tens orbital rotations decade As progresses, vital region extends outward, and braking eliminates fragmentation disk would happen an unmagnetized model. On other hand, assuming small angular momentum, this amplification might not work because rotation be slower. However, occur case. conclude exponential strength, about ?18 G, Population III

Twisted magnetic field lines around protostars

Polarized dust emission from six star-forming cloud cores has been detected, at wavelengths of 450 to 1100 µm. The data are used to measure net magnetic field directions as a function of beam size, and in two sources the field is found to twist through very large angles (60–70 •). For the low-mass protobinary IRAS16293-2422, one field direction is along the circumbinary disk, while another is a...

Effect of the temperature profile of the accretion disk on the structure of jets and outflows around protostars

Magnetic fields play an important role in creating, driving, and in the evolution of outflows and jets from protostars and accretion disks. On the other hand, the temperature profile of the accretion disks may also affect the structure of the magnetic field and outflows. In this paper, we use the self-similar method in cylindrical coordinates to investigate the effect of the temperature profile...

A monolithic field-effect-transistor-amplified magnetic field sensor

We propose and demonstrate the operation of a monolithic field-effect-transistor-amplified magnetic field sensor device, in which a tunnel-magnetoresistive ~TMR! material is incorporated within the gate of a Si metal–oxide–semiconductor–field-effect transistor. A fixed voltage is applied across the TMR layer, which leads charge to build up within the gate. Applying or changing an external magne...

Magneto-Thermo-Elastic Stresses and Perturbation of the Magnetic Field Vector in an EGM Rotating Disk

In this article, the magneto-thermo-elastic problem of exponentially graded material (EGM) hollow rotating disk placed in uniform magnetic and temperature fields is considered. Exact solutions for stresses and perturbations of the magnetic field vector in EGM hollow rotating disk are determined using the infinitesimal theory of magneto-thermo-elasticity under plane stress. The material properti...
